Fix in the Leaderboard

Metalheads,

 

Hoplon as commitment with the Community as a core value, and this is supported by other ones such as transparency, commitment, and the everlasting desire to deliver the best ingame experience.

We are not always able to live up to those standards, but with transparency and commitment, we here want to acknowledge that we identified an issue with our Leaderboard system, its impact, and what we did to remedy the situation.

 

THE PROBLEM

When Seasons 3 and 4.

Description:

1. The matches were counted with the double bomb delivered score.

   1. People affected: All participants. Everyone “benefited” from this issue.

2. 7% of the players had problems with how many matches they played, on average 0.2 matches. Less than 1 per user.

 

Fixing it:

We have ran a script on our database that fixed all wrong numbers, removing the double scoring and fixing the number of matches played.

As you can notice, the people who received prizes are the same. There have been NO CHANGES in terms of winners who received a prize. That means that, despite the technical issue and inconvenience caused, the prize went to the correct players.

 

We fixed the numbers and now the fixed amount is already live on the website, and please be assured that we already fixed the issues that caused the problem.
