  1. Ello Metalheads! With the newest map, Temple of Sacrifice, being out for a while now... What is everyone's thoughts on the style of the new map, along with the new obsticals (Such as the mud)? Also, Which map do you all prefer with your play-styles? Temple or the Arena? Anything you, personally, think should be improved, changed, or maybe you think you would have done differently? (For those of you that want just an image to look at to kinda help base stuff off of, attached is image of Temple of Sacrifice Map, with Goal on Right Side)

    Thoughts?

Hey Metalheads! I hope everyone is having a spooky Halloween! I wanted to get the communities thoughts on how the beta is going so far? I know a ton of you have been streaming and posting to YouTube about your thoughts on the game, but I thought that I would start a thread here on the website so we can all meet on a common ground. Here are some things that I have heard most of you talk about: .psd Graphics. - They are coming loves. We have some of our art team working on various items for the game and publication on social media. I hope you all understand that Rome wasn't built in a day...and art creation is even more time staking. In-game celebration of North American holidays. - We are working on incorporating a little bit of the holidays into this game. Double XP events - We are working on a few dates for our Double XP events [NA holidays as well as Stream events], either with myself, Harkness, or both! We want you and your community to gain as much XP during these times, but we first have to discuss this. We should have an answer for you all this week. That's pretty much it! If you have any suggestions or if I have missed anything, please comment here and help a sister out! Stay safe this Halloween!
  3. Hello fans of Heavy Metal Machines! Today we are going to talk about a very important move for the game that generates many discussions: Passing the bomb! Passing the bomb properly is an essential skill to become a better player of Heavy Metal Machines. While it may seem simple to do, a good pass can consecrate the delivery of the bomb, while a bad pass can mean the death (and defeat!) of your allies. Basic mechanics When holding the space bar, the bomb is always passed back, which means that the positioning is essential so that the bomb does not fall into the hands of the enemy team. There is little time between the moment you decide to pass, and the bomb is actually released, so be careful with an enemy carrier coming in at the last moment! Team work Passing the bomb does not just depend on who is carrying it. If you want to receive a pass, position yourself behind your teammate that is in possession of the bomb! That way, you guarantee that you will receive the pass correctly. Skip not to die When you are carrying the bomb, it is impossible to use the maps shortcuts to escape certain death. In such a situation, pass the bomb before you die and the emergency exits will be available! No allies around Consider this: you are low on health and enemies begin to surround you. With the near destruction, it is ideal to escape so you do not give more resources to the enemies and to regroup with their allies. In this case, you can try a pass forward, without a direct target for the pass. A good suggestion is to try to throw the bomb in lava or the guard rails to make life difficult for the enemy team or a pass forward, toward where the bomb will be delivered. Hopefully this helps everyone with their passes! We hope to see you all executing these passes in the arena! \m/
